Postdoctoral positions

The groups of Dr. Qiuwei Abdullah Pan (Erasmus Medical Center, the Netherlands) and Dr. Wenshi Wang (Xuzhou Medical University, China) are jointly recruiting several postdocs to work on hepatitis E, with specific interests in studying virus-host interactions and therapeutic development mainly using human organoids based models, as well as epidemiology and public health of hepatitis E. It is also possible to work on other viral diseases such as hepatitis D, coronaviruses, monkeypox, and flaviviruses.

For more information, please contact Dr. Qiuwei Abdullah Pan (q.pan@erasmusmc.nl), and Dr. Wenshi Wang (wenshi.wang@xzhmu.edu.cn).

International Joint Meeting on Viral Infections of the Liver and the Heart (2025)
Day two of this symposium will place a special emphasis on Hepatitis E — a virus that, despite being the most common cause of viral hepatitis, offers a valuable opportunity for further research and understanding. Venue: Cantinerie Berlin Gustav-Meyer-Allee 25 13355 Berlin, Germany. Organisers: Prof. Dr. Jens Kurreck, Dr. rer. nat. Daniel Todt, Prof. Dr. med. Heiner Wedemeyer, More information: Medizinische Hochschule Hannover : International DFG/DZIF Joint Meeting on Viral Infections of the Liver and the Heart (mhh.de)
